5th Anniversary Exhibition opens

The latest Ten group exhibition opened on 12th January 2015 with Evensong followed by a preview drinks reception at Guildford Cathedral, Stag Hill, Guildford, Surrey and was a successful event hugely enjoyed by all who attended.

Earlier in the day the members of Ten were busy hanging the work on show and final "tweeks" were still being made right up to 4.30pm! Despite all the stresses of installing the work, the consensus so far is that the whole show is the best so far in the history of the group!  Praise indeed for this, the 5th anniversary since the group graduated from the BA (Hons) Fine Art course at UCA, Farnham in 2010.

Ten would like to share a few highlights of their day with you below:

The countdown begins...

Only ONE MONTH to go before the next Ten exhibition opens at Guildford Cathedral.  Our new offering will be called QUINQUENNIAL which means 5th anniversary and which will be a celebration of 2015 being the 5th year since we all graduated from the BA (Hons) Fine Art course at UCA Farnham in 2010.  Because our graduation ceremony took place at Guildford Cathedral, we felt it was a fitting place to celebrate our achievement and this exhibition draws on the Cathedral and its environs as inspiration for the work which will be on display.

Ten warmly welcome everyone to come along and celebrate with us at the Private View which will be on Monday 12th January between 6.30pm and 7.30pm, and you feel able to join us at choral evensong you would be most welcome from 5.30pm.

Even if you can't make the Preview evening, we hope that you may be able to visit at some other time.  The exhibition is open from Tuesday 13th January to Thursday 22nd January 2015 between 9.30am and 5.30pm everyday (including Sunday).

So long, farewell, we hate to say goodbye....

Sadly all good things must come to an end and today our current exhibition at Cranleigh Arts Centre closed.  We have had a good month, with many visitors and some very positive comments and feedback as well as a few sold items!

Here is what the last few visitors before the exhibition closed had to say about what they saw:

It is always nice to read what the visiting public have to say about our work and we are really pleased that we have been able to interest and inspire our visitors.

The GOOD NEWS is that we have another exhibition opening in January 2015 (13th to 23rd) at GUILDFORD CATHEDRAL, Stag Hill, Guildford, Surrey and we really hope some of you may be able to come and see new and previously unseen work there.

The final few days

It's the last few days next week of our current exhibition at Cranleigh Arts Centre.  The Centre is open Tuesday to Saturday 10.00am to 4.30pm and the best bit is that when you've had a look at the exhibition there is yummy tea and cake available from the Art Tea House at the Centre!

Here's what some of our first visitors had to say about what they saw...

...and here's a quick reminder of what you are missing!
